A Meta-Analysis of the Variables Related to the Counseling Supervisory Working Alliance

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to classify variables related to the counseling Supervisory Working Alliance(S.W.A) and to comprehensively analyze their effect size. The results may be summarized as follows. Firstly, a total effect size among the variables related with S.W.A was clearly a large effect size(.523.). Second, the effect sizes of sub-variants of individual inner variables, the antecedents variables of the S.W.A, were shown in order of insecure attachment(.655), self-disclosure(.544), developmental level(.202) and evaluation concerns perfectionism(.174). Thirdly, the effect sizes of sub-variants of individual external variables, and the antecedents variables of, the group sub-variants, were not statistically significant. Fourthly, the effect sizes of the outcomes variables of the S.W.A, were shown in the following order; feedback acceptance(.882), supervision satisfaction(.616), self-efficacy(.363) and burnout(.309).
